Navchetana is the Madhya Pradesh Regional Centre for Performing Arts, Literacy and Value Education. It was started in the year 1990 and was temporarily housed in the building of St. Paul School Bhopal. In March 1993 a piece of land with the existing building was purchased near Lalghati by the banks of the Upper Lake and on the same day, Navchetana was shifted to the new premises.

The Centre imparts professional training in mass media communication, including content creation of various literary and artistic materials for the purpose of proclamation through mass media.
